Back in January, I read a post on Christine’s blog about a couple of giveaways she was hosting. The first one was great, but it was for a coupon to TGI Fridays, which we don’t have anywhere around here. I read further & noticed she was also giving away a 3 DVD set from the Food Network series “Good Eats with Alton Brown.”  Well, I got pretty excited about it, because I’m a huge fan of the show & of Alton Brown himself, plus this set was “Whet Your Appetite,” which is full of great appetizers drinks. (including his wonderful eggnog recipe). I love giveaways, especially when it’s something that I’ll actually use, so I entered & pretty much forgot about it.

About a week ago, I got an email from Christine telling me I had won & that her hubby would be mailing it in the next few days. I was so excited to hear that & couldn’t wait to get it. It was sitting out there in my box today when we went to check the mail today. She even included an awesome handcrafted card (she makes great cards & I always save them!) that was my favorite color. I can’t wait to watch these, there’s even an episode with sushi rice & California rolls!! Thank you so much, Christine!
