Get to know me

For as long as I can remember, I have hidden away from the world and spent my days in the world of books. Whether I was writing my own stories or staying up way past my bedtime to read, words and I were never far apart.

Four years ago, I published my first novel. Within a few months, I published two more. Then, I stopped. Now, it is time to get started again.

Hi, my name is Deidre and I am the Wordy Witch. I spend my days teaching and my nights writing and editing. I am a self-published author with 2 YA Paranormal Mysteries, 1 Contemporary Holiday Romance and a future of so many more.

Right now, I am writing a cozy mystery series and a thriller series.

When I am not writing, I spend time with my wonderful husband, Kris. We are spending our time in the mountains on various adventures, from day hikes to camping to four wheeling or being complete couch potatoes, playing video games or binge watching TV Shows. (Currently, we are watching Bones.)

We also have two dogs, Asta, and Maggie, a cat called Spock (Or Skatdog, Skittles or Spockles).

I am an avid gardener, a wannabe baker, and believer that with a little effort, magic is real and dreams do come true.
